Cindy has provided consumer research and design guidance support and methodologies for over 15 years. She has worked with  understanding consumer shopping behaviors, product usage and understanding unmet needs and design guidance. Her emphasis on the strategic value of consumer research is demonstrated by her personal involvement in each stage of the product life cycle. She brings to her clients over twenty years of experience working for and with a wide range of companies in various industries such as:

  • Health Care - United Health Partners, Humana, Abbott Northwestern and Unity Hospitals, and smaller cosmetic surgery clinics
  • Packaged Goods - General Mills, Nabisco/Kraft; ConAgra, Unilever, Kimberly Clark, Johnson & Johnson, Hunt Wesson, P&G, E & J Gallo

She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from University of St. Thomas and a Masters in Holistic Health. She is certified in qualitative research by RIVA  (Research In Values and Attitudes), a program that trains moderators on how to conduct focus groups and one-on-one interviews.  Other certifications include:  Quality Engineering, Facilitation, and Kirton Adapter/Innovator Creative Style Assessment (KAI).  She was a member and leader of the Creative Problem-Solving Institute (CPSI) and her training in the Osborn/Parnes Creative Problem solving method brings a new perspective to her research. Her work at Physiognomy Research brings together consumer research, recruiting and facilities all in one place.

 

Cindy taught qualitative research at the University of St. Thomas and trained new Law students on interviewing and listening techniques. She worked at General Mills as a chemist, certified quality engineer and assistant marketing manager. Cindy is experienced in consumer research, product guidance research and marketing research.
